We want to give a special shout-out and thanks to a Mr Joshua Robot…aka El Roboto Chupacabra for repping Geekhouse hard at the SSCXWC in LA last week. I especially love this shot of him from Bike Mag ahead of Ryan Trebon in the Lemond start to the race (8th photo from the top).
“The Men’s race was the last underway for the weekend. Ryan Trebon was first to the ‘Cesspool’ with Joshua Robot immediately behind. Robot suffered on the next lap with the tequila short-cut in play – choosing to avoid inebriation, the Geekhouse rider lost ground taking the long route around the minivan. Unfortunately, inebriation of other riders later in the race did not slow them down enough for Robot to make up the gap.”
Here’s a quick look back at a couple of Robot’s costumes through the years, here’s the Zombie, but my personal favorite is the Mac-Robot avec pink cast, after breaking his wrist racing CX in 2009.

Lastly, just want to say we love you Mr. Robot, you’re a Geekhouse OG from 2009 (the original team). It warms the cockles of my heart thinking of you blinding the competition out in San Fran. We miss you dearly and hope to steal you a way for at least one CX race next season. Thanks buddy!
